CMaG: ARAZPA NZ Inc

Conference 2010

Hamilton, 8-10 June

Two decades ago, a small group of individuals formed the NZ Native Bird Breeders Group, known today as the Conservation Management Group: ARAZPA NZ Inc. Hamilton Zoo and the Otorohanga Kiwi House have great pleasure in announcing that they will be joint hosts of the 2010 Conference at the Le Grand Hotel in Victoria Street, Hamilton.

With “Creative Conservation” the main theme, the 2010 Conference promises to be both exciting and informative, and institutions and individuals are encouraged to submit papers based around this topic. The keynote address on “Conservation Advocacy” will be by Al Morrison, Director General of the Department of Conservation. There will also be a selection of papers on restoration projects within our area. As well as ample opportunity to network with like-minded souls, our annual dinner, awards and auction evening will be included in the Conference programme.
