Wildlife Conservation Fund

In 2001 the ARAZPA Wildlife Conservation Fund was established, it is designed specifically to direct resources to conservation projects in the wild.

100% of funds raised or donated to the ARAZPA Wildlife Conservation Fund go directly to the project. ARAZPA covers all administrative costs.

The ARAZPA Wildlife Conservation Fund:

  • provides avenues for ARAZPA members (particularly those not currently involved in conservation) to become involved with in situ conservation projects;
  • makes a genuine, united contribution towards conservation and the environment;
  • strengthens the conservation credentials of the Australasian zoological industry.

Conservation projects to benefit the following species are currently endorsed by the ARAZPA Wildlife Conservation Fund.

  • Sumatran Tiger
  • Orangutan
  • Silvery Gibbon
  • Coxen’s Fig Parrot
  • Asian Turtles
  • Vietnamese Small Carnivores including Owston’s Palm Civet
  • Philippine Spotted Deer
  • Tenkile and Golden-mantled Tree-kangaroo

I would like to make a donation!
