Sniff, Swing, Swipe

Sniff, Swing, SwipeOrganisation: Auckland Zoo.

Experience Title: Sniff, Swing Swipe.

Experience Synopsis: This program is an internet based project http://education.otago.ac.nz/nzlnet/candoatakzoo/home.html , focussing on the requirements of the New Zealand Science and Technology curricula. It challenges students to research, design and develop an enrichment device for one of four nominated species within the Zoo. Students are 'buddied' with an 'expert' (the relevant keeper), to provide feedback and advice in relation to their concept. Keepers choose suitable devices to trial with the animals.
