Offsite Education Experiences
Melbourne Museum
Four programs over four days on 774 ABC Radio, on the topics of Fertility, Environment, Immigration and Planning as they all relate to Population. Accompanying these radio programs is a series of research activities, in which 100 – 170 people each day listen to the program in the museum’s theatre, and feed their opinions on the topics back to the studio for discussion. All research data is collected and compiled into an on-line publication.
Politically and socially aware adults.
90 minutes per day x four days.
No cost.
The program is marketed through 774 ABC Radio, Herald Sun newspaper, the Age newspaper and Melbourne Museum’s Members Magazine.
Three visitor program staff, one research staff, one education staff, two technical staff, two marketing and public relations staff, two curatorial staff.
