Adelaide Zoo
One day programs for junior primary classes. Teachers choose between ten topics and once a booking has been made, receive a resource pack containing worksheets, fact sheets, activity ideas, an itinerary for their zoo visit and a workbook for the students to do at the zoo. On the day of their visit they also receive a 45-minute lesson with an education officer on their chosen topic.
Junior primary classes up to Yr 4.
$20 per class plus zoo entry.
Photocopying of resources.
Fliers sent to school website.
One full time staff member to design and produce the resource packs and to take the lessons.
Classroom/sheltered area.
