Dreamworld
Take a walk on the wild side when your students go on safari at Dreamworld. This program provides an educational and motivational experience for young children to encourage an early appreciation of the needs and unique adaptations of living things. While on safari students visit Tiger Island and the Australian Wildlife Experience. A resource book provided to teachers encourages pre and post visit activities relating to the Science and English curricula.
Lower primary, Prep – Yr 3.
1.5 hours.
AU$19.50 per student (includes education program, entry to Dreamworld and access to rides and attractions).
Education consultant AU$4,000, costume designer AU$2,000, props and resources AU$4,000.
Brochures, website, teacher preview morning teas, teacher conferences.
One wildlife education officer presents the whole program with a 10-minute spot for a ‘guest speaker’ from Tiger Island.
