China Bear Rescue - Campaign materials
With a combined visitation of 14 million people, a campaign target of collecting 1 million signatures through the efforts of member zoos and aquariums has been set.

To support member institutions in reaching this target, the following campaign materials have been produced for the ARAZPAChina Bear Rescue Campaign. 

The association thanks the Animals Asia Foundation and the Zoological Parks Board of NSW for the producing these materials for use by member zoos and aquariums.

The campaign materials include a number of print-ready documents for printing in-house at zoos and aquariums to promote the ARAZPA China Bear Rescue Campaign including:

• Draft Press Release
• The actual communique (petition)  39kb

• Poster
• Frequently asked Questions & Answers and additional information  30kb
• Bear fact sheet

Here are just a few ideas of how you might choose to use these materials and support the campaign:

• Print and distribute brochures, petitions, posters, and other information to visitors, why not have the communiqué available for signing at information desks.
• Involve staff, Zoo Friends and volunteers in signing the communiqué themselves and their friends and families, asking visitors to sign.
• Promote the campaign in your zoo’s newsletter
• Create a link to the ARAZPA China Bear Campaign webpage from your zoo’s website
• Provide students with a bear fact sheets and information on how they can support the campaign by submitting the online form at home with their parents
• Incorporate information about the campaign in keeper talks and volunteer manned touch tables in front of bear exhibits.   And, if you have no bears draw a long bow to Koala (bears!).
